Great projects for Faiseurs de Terres

Fertile substrate made from used materials within the Carrefour des Limites development in the 93 department!

Congratulations to the Halage Association, named winner of the AMI (Invitation to Action) for the temporary occupation of the large road islands located in the middle of the avenue.

Their project:

Development of horticultural activities and revegetation of the site with local plants.

An #innovative approach:

The development work will be carried out by members of the Faiseurs de Terres group (Neo-Eco, Halage, and Topager), with the development of different types of soils using materials from the circular economy and tested to evaluate their effectiveness and behavior in an urban environment.

This project is similar to the production of a green roof substrate where the slab would act as the roof. Different formulations of green roof substrates will therefore be proposed to experiment with recycled materials. These formulations will be adapted based on their behavior to meet the intended uses and environmental constraints.

One of the major current challenges of the regional circular economy is the #recovery of unpolluted excavated soil, and this revegetation project therefore offers an innovative recovery sector, reducing the extraction of #natural resources and waste production.
