Launch of the Al2SiBuild project

Neo-Eco is proud to be part of the Al2SiBuild project which began in 2026 and will last for a period of 3 years.

🔍 What is Al2SiBuild?
Al2SiBuild aims to accelerate the development and adoption of geopolymers and alkali-activated materials as sustainable alternatives to Portland cement-based concrete. The goal: to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions and energy consumption in the construction sector by demonstrating the potential of low-carbon concrete made from local and circular resources.
The project is structured around 4 strategic axes:
🌐 Create a cross-border network of expertise
♻️ Identify and promote the use of raw materials available in the FWVL region
🧪 Develop geopolymer/alkaline activated concrete binders and concretes
🏗️ Test their feasibility by creating industrial prototypes of building elements.
🎯 Neo-Eco's role in this project
As a partner in this project, we will contribute our technical and industrial expertise to ensure the successful development of these materials. Our main role will be to:
The identification and characterization of secondary raw material deposits;
The development of valorization processes to transform these flows into high-performance eco-materials;
The creation of local circular economy loops by connecting waste producers and construction companies;
Technical support for regional businesses to adopt these new construction solutions.
💡 Total project budget: €2.83M including €1.7M from the FEDER fund
