Where were you last Friday? We were at LUMA Eco Days to explore the new dynamics of bioregional sustainable building, and we loved it.
✨ Housed in the impressive buildings of the Parc des Ateliers in Arles, Atelier LUMA is a design research center that advances the development of bio-sourced materials in innovative ways.
For all those passionate about sustainable development and bio-sourced materials (yes, it’s a passion like any other, and we share it!), this event was a real goldmine 💎
On the program:
🌱 From field to building: Discover innovative projects using emblematic materials from the bioregion such as rice straw, sunflower, local earth and stones, as well as recycled materials.
🪙 Green Finance: Discussions on business models and financing structures that integrate sustainability criteria such as carbon, biodiversity, and social impact.
🌐 Ecosystems in Action: Presentations on concrete construction and renovation projects using bio-sourced materials, as well as urban cooling and resource management strategies.
🚀 Innovative Materials and Processes: Exploring the latest advances in myco-materials and other innovations at the interface between microbiology and design.
Many thanks to ATELIER LUMA, EURL D'architecture for this inspiring event and for these enriching meetings 🙏
